There’s nothing bad ass about running a brake on a track bike. Some Cat 1 Roadie is gonna sand bag it. They’ll show up on a Fixed gear with front and rear brakes, carbon wheels and like a 53x15 gear ratio and win the Dog tags. They may get the dog tags but not the street cred or my respect.
The road category is where it’s at! Michael Creed and a bunch of the Kelly Benefit dudes said they’ll come. There’s rummors that Rahsaan Bahati is gonna show up also. The whole Predator Cycling team, I’m sure a bunch of the Ritte guys will be there too and Sho-Air is bringing out their fast guys too. I’m exited to see how this is gonna work out at the end!
If you are racing it on a track bike keep it brakeless if you are comfortable with that and have some fun.
